The TP Link Deco BE25 is a BE3600 Whole Home Mesh WiFi 7 System designed to provide fast, reliable and seamless wireless coverage throughout the home. Using next generation WiFi 7 technology, Deco BE25 delivers combined wireless speeds of up to 3.6 Gbps with up to 2882 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 688 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band.

The Deco BE25 is equipped with two 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports on each unit. These ports support WAN or LAN connections and provide high speed wired connectivity for compatible devices such as computers, gaming consoles, network storage and switches. The multi gigabit ports also provide flexible options for Ethernet backhaul between Deco units.

WiFi 7 features such as Multi Link Operation MLO, 4K QAM, Multi RUs and 160 MHz channel bandwidth help improve wireless throughput, reduce latency and increase network efficiency on compatible WiFi 7 devices.

Deco BE25 uses TP Link Mesh technology to create one unified home network with a single WiFi name. Built in AI driven roaming helps devices connect to the appropriate Deco unit as users move around the home. TP Link Mesh also supports adaptive path selection and self healing to help maintain connectivity when network conditions change.

The system supports more than 150 connected devices according to TP Link laboratory testing, making it suitable for busy homes with smartphones, laptops, tablets, smart TVs, gaming consoles, cameras, smart home products and other connected devices. Actual capacity and performance vary depending on network conditions and client devices.

Deco BE25 can also combine wireless and wired backhaul. TP Link states that the system can use wireless and wired backhaul simultaneously to increase overall throughput and reduce latency. Availability of specific combined backhaul functionality can depend on firmware, so the units should be kept updated.

For network security, Deco BE25 supports TP Link HomeShield, WPA Personal, WPA2 Personal and WPA3 Personal encryption, SPI firewall, access control, IoT protection and other network security functions. Advanced HomeShield services may require a subscription.

The Deco BE25 can be configured and managed through the TP Link Deco App. Users can view connected devices, configure guest networks, manage parental controls, prioritize devices and control other network settings.
