The TP Link TL WA3001 AX3000 Dual Band Wi Fi 6 Gigabit Access Point is designed to expand and improve wireless connectivity in homes, offices and small business environments. With next generation Wi Fi 6 technology, it delivers combined wireless speeds of up to 3000 Mbps, including up to 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz.

The TL WA3001 supports 160 MHz channel bandwidth, helping compatible Wi Fi 6 devices achieve higher wireless performance compared with traditional 80 MHz channels. Four fixed high performance antennas with Beamforming technology help concentrate wireless signals toward connected devices for improved coverage and connectivity.

The access point includes one Gigabit Ethernet port with Passive PoE support, allowing data and electrical power to be carried over a suitable Ethernet cable. This provides flexible installation options when the access point needs to be positioned away from a conventional power outlet.

The TL WA3001 supports multiple operating modes including Access Point, Range Extender, Multi SSID and Client modes, making it suitable for different network deployment requirements. Multi SSID mode can be used to create separate wireless networks, while Client mode can connect wired devices to an existing wireless network.

For security, the access point supports WPA, WPA2, WPA3 and WPA WPA2 Enterprise encryption. It also supports a Captive Portal, which can be useful for guest access and small business environments.
